Dr. Ali Akbar Salehi born at 24 March 1949 is an academic, diplomat and the head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. He served as head of AEOI from 2009 to 2010 and was appointed to the post for a second time on 16 August 2013. Before his appointment of his current position, he was foreign affairs minister from 2010 to 2013. He was also the Iranian representative in the International Atomic Energy Agency from 1998 to 2003.

There are several historical monuments that has remained from Dr. Salehi’s paternal family of which we can name Salehieh school which was also used as a mosque. This school which was the largest Shia university during the Qajar dynasty is now reconstructed by Qazvin’s cultural heritage organization.

Also today Sardar Mofakham’s building is used as museum of Dr. salehi’s donation and is visited on this basis. This building was constructed in the late of Qajar dynasty in this museum Dr. Salehi’s donation are at show from 2010 to 2013 when he was the minister of foreign affairs.
