Mowj which is a Kurdish term and called Mashteh by Lors, is known as bed-cloth wrapper in other regions of the country. This kind of hand –woven textile is usually produced in different sizes. Although this art has a history of 400 years, its workshops with the emergence of cloth factories lost their splendor and markets so that only one of the old skillful masters of the art is active in the field. While different samples of Mowj may be seen in all the villages of 136
